How To Setup the nanoKONTROL2 with Worship Essentials

  1. Connect your Korg nanoKONTROL2 to your computer, and reset it to factory settings.
  2. Install the KORG KONTROL Editor by dragging its folder to your Applications folder, and then open the app. Download KORG KONTROL Editor here: https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/software/1/133/1355/
  3. On the Editor launch screen, your connected nanoKONTROL2 will show - select it and proceed to the main Editor screen.
  4. Our KORG KONTROL Editor config file for Worship Essentials is included with your purchase. You can find it in your "Controllers" folder located within the main Worship Essentials folder installed here: Home folder > Music > MainStage.
  5. In the Editor, go to the menu: File > Open, click No, and open the config file titled: "Worship Essentials.nktrl2_data". This will load into the Editor software the exact settings that work with Worship Essentials.
  6. Go to the menu: Connection > Write Scene Data and click OK. This will send our Worship Essentials settings from the Editor to the actual nanoKONTROL2 hardware, you'll see a short progress bar as the operation is processed. You can then quit the KORG KONTROL Editor.
  7. Then, simply open any of our Worship Essentials templates, and the nanoKONTROL2 will automatically sync to the controls in MainStage!
