How To Install The SINE Player and SINE Sample Libraries

The SINE Player is a free app to use both free and paid sample libraries by Orchestral Tools. You'll need a computer to install and use the app.

  1. Create a user account: https://www.orchestraltools.com/login

  2. Download the SINE Player and install it: https://www.orchestraltools.com/get-sine

  3. Open the app - it will be located in your Mac Applications folder. Log in with the account you just created.

  4. Go to the "My Licenses" tab, and scroll down to the sample library you want to install. For this example, we are installing "Spindle". I created a folder in my Music folder and named it "Orchestral Tools" to hold my downloads. You can view the download progress at the "Downloader" tab.

  5. Once installed, you'll see the installed sample libraries on the "Library" tab. To load, click on a library and double-click on an instrument. Patches in other DAWs made using the SINE Player will autoload any required libraries.
