Leveling Patches

Sometimes patch levels can be inconsistent when changing, here's how you can make them more even!

Setting the max volume to match your other patches would be our first suggestion, we like using a piano sound for reference.

We also like to look at the meter of our main output to make sure it’s somewhat even when we bring up our synth patches.
But most importantly, use your ear, not sure if you’ve heard the saying “mix with your ears not your eyes” this is so true!
When you’re testing your levels, test them at very very low volume, so low that you’ll notice if anything jumps out when your bring the volume up.
Also, recording yourself is another way to test your levels, a lot of times we get too excited when playing that we only hear what we want to hear or we convince ourself that it sounds good. (The little noise of our keybed is also affecting what we hear)
So recording ourselves helps a lot. The playback will tell you how leveled your patches are.
Hopefully this help!
