Add A Second Keyboard to Worship Essentials

How to add a second keyboard to Worship Essentials, so you can play different sounds from a layered patch on different keyboards!

STEP 1

In Layout Mode, add a MIDI Activity control. This will act as the input device for your 2nd keyboard. It's much smaller than adding another full virtual keyboard so it takes up less space in the Layout. Then, in the Inspector window, assign your 2nd keyboard, so the name of it shows in MIDI Port.

STEP 2

In Edit Mode, choose any layered patch. Select the channel strip (or multiple channel strips) that you want to play from the 2nd keyboard. In the MIDI Input tab, choose the name of your 2nd keyboard. Now, that sound can be played from the 2nd keyboard only.
